About
Guitar and Bass player mostly, I am recording in my little homestudio.
I program with my computer drums, percussions and keyboards, using plugins and sampler.
Guitar, bass and vocals are played live.
I have a Squier Jazz Bass, an american Fender Strat, a japanese Fender Tele, an Eko Lespaul, an Epiphone explorer and a Jasmine electro-acoustic guitar. My amps are Carvin 16 full tube combo, a Peavey Delta Blues and a wonderfull Echolette M-40 head but I often use a Sansamp rackmount (ancestor of the psa 1-1) preamp with + ADA cab simulation too. I have a dozen of pedals + some old 70's wahs (Colorsound, Jen, Maestro)
Huge fan of 70's funk, my influences are eclectic : from hard rock to blues and boogie!
My main influences are : James Brown, Sly & the Family Stone, Jamiroquai, The Meters, The Bar-Kays, early 70's Kool & The Gang, Gil Scot Heron, The Budos Band, Bobby Byrd, Curtis Mayfield, Eddie Hazel, The Poets of Rhythm, Antibalas, Patchworks..
Jeff Buckley, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, RATM ...
Here is the rock band where I'm the second guitarist. A self produced album will be out during april, so stay tuned : KaZerta
Here is my 2 men band where I play bass, a rock/metal sideproject (we're working again after a break) : Fuck Shit Up
I'm interested in exchanging with other musicians, so every comment and feedback will be really welcomed!
Collaborations could be also interesting...
If you like groove, check LET'S GROOVE (The Original Jazz / Funk / Fusion - Group), It's a group I'm moderating with my friend Calaminus. Only fine groove for your ears ;-)
I'm also a member of the french webzine "Fonkadelica" dedicated to funk, soul and groovy music, where I do some album reviews, live reports and interviews.
You can check it here : www.fonkadelica.com
(the website is written in french but interviews are mostly in english...)
Thanks for listening to my sounds!
