Audio from NORAD and F-15's scrambled to intercept US Airways flight 787 as it diverted into Bangor. Silences in between transmissions were removed by my radio automatically, so this actually covers 20-30 minutes of time.

Can you tell me what Program ( or Radio) you are using in order to Silence in between transmissions ?

@jareau-almeyda: because you don't want your plane's radio to suddenly lose coverage. Also the listening station may not be in optimal position.

We put men in outer space, we now have WiFi on airplanes, yet, somehow, we can't manage to eliminate the static from our communications. Oh, I get it, they are on an airplane, so their cellphones had to be switched to the off position before takeoff.
