Salamanders represent people and places. Various encounters that did and did not happen. At one point, I lost track which of them did, but I thought what the fuck, let's finish the album first and only then look back. Or forward. Or ahead, depending on your English dialect. Or perhaps over the shoulder, where there is a boulder.

Salamanders are superheroes. Superheroes, almost by definition, have superpowers.

The Black Salamander, unlike all other Salamanders, bears no special ability. But it somehow knows about the superpowers of all the other Salamanders and occasionally, yet rarely, feels connected with them.
