Alessandro Mancini, aka Aleck, was born in Rome, 21/5/1990. He grew up in a place surrounded by music and he showed a strong passion for the music since he was a child. Through the years he refined this passion starting to sing and favouring genres such as Soul, R&B and Hip-Hop. Just the Soul directed him towards singing, being inspired by artists of the past as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass and many more. In 2005 he finished his very first work as producer, writer and singer in the album called "Blessed & Cursed". As a matter of fact it's a homemade album, but it is just the first step of his musical growth. In the end of 2006 Aleck knew an italian rapper with his same musical ideals, so the collaboration between Aleck and Ali Gio was born. In the first months 2007 they recorded in studio their first song together called "Amore Forte", that means "Strong Love", a great hit produced by Aleck. In the meantime creativity doesn't miss and so many other solo tracks are made by Aleck, in parallel to the project of the rapper Ali Gio where Aleck takes part as a producer and featuring. In 2009 he starts exploring new musical dimensions such as electro music and dance music, and he tries to channel his ideas into refined and original sounds. In the summer of 2011 Aleck met Salvatore Mollica (aka Sam) and they started a new big project called Meccanico Ind. which is a group of people intended to create something new in music.
On the 2nd of January 2012 his first EP called "Mechanical Poetries" was out. It's written and produced by Aleck and Sam.
The wish to improve himself and to spread a positive message are the most important feature of Aleck, an eclectic and determined artist who made music his life.
