Final Warning!F**kin-A-Right! I feel like kickin somebody's ass now!! Great track!
good stuff! Monochrome set--beat happening-psychic tv brian jones etc.
A pretty carconoma!
Thanks for forcing me to have to look up what the hell a "picardy third" was!! Sheesh, music majors. Great song, great guitar work anyway!!
@OVVLs: ever since he did it anything backwards definitely owes him credit
strong stuff!!!
Wow, love your voice!
@Big Blind Special: TY! I like "this man is me" good tune!
@OVVLs: thanks for your piano!
crazy changes!!feel like I'm having some strange nostalgic trippy moment watching a strange mop n' glow commercial!
nice change!
Definitely gets the Doors vibe from Waiting for the sun/Morrison Hotel era with the vocals against the keyboards/hammond. Great stuff once again!!!!
I like the change here and the way the vocal line goes gainst the gtr part. I would make the whole song work from this part instead of the beginning piece. This has a cool-90s indie feel as opposed to the 60's velvets intro and the angry emo-like part that precedes this. Anyway, I hope I don't offend you by any criticisms, I'm just thinking on my feet as I listen. I know I have stuff that I thought was cool, orchestrated all the parts, lyrically and musically and someone else in the band said "lets just keep that riff and dump all the rest of that crap" and I was like "Wow...bummer", but they ended up being right. So I try not to get too proud about anysongs. I watched this bio on Bruce Springsteen and how many times he changed lyrics, music, parts to try to perfect what he was striving for, not that we're gonna give the Boss a run for his money!!!
@rollcallcitizen: Nah, this is a good tune. I like the song better once you start singing as opposed to the stepwise thing in the intro. Wish you had the whole thing on here. It's tough when its lo-fi and you have recordings from one mike in a room whole mix-no individual tracks that can be tweeked no redoing vocals etc. I dont sweat it because I figure all these things I put up are demos-if we want them polished we can work them up and go record at a studio.
@rollcallcitizen: Haha!Yeah, but overall a very cool effect with the vocals. Is it two acoustic guitar tracks?Almost sounds like mandolin overdubs. It would be cool if the drummer had somewoodblocks,and the little scratcher-percussion gizmo for occasional accents.I wanna learn this one.
I just seriously got a lump in my throat! I forgot how much I love what you do sometimes,Wow. Wonderful lyrics, intent. Great stuff
nice strangely eerie tune
@rodrigo quast: Thx man! This one turned out pretty cool I thought. Most of these recordings are just random jams that I try to manipulate, cut and paste stuff but sometimes there is some harmonic resolution coming through all the dissonant things.Anyway,thx!
great guitar and clean production throughout!! Very interesting chords!
Vampiire-great track!! In addition to the Bowie-Dolls feel you also are hitting on some INXS up-feeling groove with this. How is this the first time I've heard of you?? Great work mate
cool guitar sounds!!
@Maxwell Demon: thx alot!!
great solo over interesting chords!!
Pretty much bad ass! Kinda reminds me of Die Kruesin meets LITE. Good stuff!
The great Wizard, Brian Jones Genesis P Orridge the golden dawn and some Sega Genesis weirdness to boot! Cool stuff Bro!
Enjoying this alot!!
Takes on a Dire-Straits type feel here. Great song!!!!
Really like this part with the chord pattern and vocals!
Great recording. Kinda has some Face to Face meets the Clash feelings. Well put together.
@Gus Goad: Thx Gus-yeah i don't know what it's all about either just a chopped-up guitar part,an imitation bass line, a badly played trumpet and a computer generated drum part but it works I think.
Die Kreuzen meets early mudhoney meets early Alice Cooper-Dig it!!
Nice cacophony of noise to the end!
Nice guitar solo!
Love the vocals, chord changes and the tempo.Good stuff!
