Albaraka Reggae began its activity around the year 2000 as a collective of disc jockeys in the southern area of Catalunya, by the Mediterranean sea. We try to reflect this North African culture influence, hence is our name.
We play Soul, Funk, Calypso, African and Reggae music of all times, mostly Rocksteady, Roots and Dub.
Selectors are Dj Au and LouieSelecteur, always joined by Bragga MC at the toast.
Bragga MC is also the singer of La Màquina de Turing and Jamaican music trio Mightynes alongside Padrinho and La Doble.
Collabs shown here are Mightynes self-produced tunes (Padrinho, la Doble & BraggaMC) with bass remixes by Tenerife-based producer Omarsson (WAR).
Music is food for the soul, so we cultivate it for the future alongside all brothers and sisters found along the way: Risspect Krew, THC, the great Ben B Selecta, Alfons, Game Over and, the ever faithful Rootsman Target!!
