Alan Cuevas, better known as Perceptive Motion, borns in Mexico City in October 1991. He was getting in touch with the EDM, specially Trance music at the middles and the ends of the 90’s, when he was a child, thanks to his most early family.
Living between Mexico and Spain, he starts DJing at the age of 15 after learning the art of Vinyls and CDJ mixing. After almost three years polish his technique as DJ, and experiencing with differents styles of the EDM, he goes evolving to the most melodic and atmospheric styles over time, and he starts recording Trance and Progressive sessions -among other genres- that few months later would see support on some of the most important Trance radioshows in Spain. Actually, he has been collaborated as guest DJ for some different radioshows in and out of his country since 2010 to 2012, year wich he also achivied his own slot on the important trance radio station Trancesonic.FM and is part of Suburban Sound Recordings; he also starts producing music in the second part of 2011.
Alan shared booth with important artists like Activa or Spanish icons like Angel Esteban, San Varez or John Feel, and on his own radioshow he has enjoyed the exclusive participations of artists like Arctic Moon, Bjorn Akesson, Matt Bowdidge, Mr Pit, Vitodito, Alex O’Rion, Sneijder, and many more.
On his sets, he offers a different form of mixing understanding, with an unusual technique in regards to trance, influenced by artists like Bryan Kearney, John Askew, Paul Van Dyk or Claudia Cazacu, evolving from more ‘Proggy’ to more powerful sounds, covering different styles of the EDM, specially Trance, and usually relying on the great Progressive House atmospheres or the complex Tecno basses.
As producer, he has made remixes to important artists of the Spanish and Mexican scene like Iris Deejay or DJorge Caballero. Now he is working on some diferent remixes for artists from diferent countries, making interesting collaborations and of course, working on his own tracks and on his label Suburban Sound.
