Hino dark do nosso herói dos toca-discos Magal no lendário porão da Praça Roosevelt - Hoellisch - a 'The Reign' (Clock DVA) marcou demais a geração da virada dos oitenta para o início da década seguinte. Marcava a transição perfeita entre os Cold Wave, Gothics e afins para as trilhas eletrônicas de EBM e Industrial que costumava acontecer entre meia noite e uma da manhã. Ouvir obras como essa nos proporciona ainda hoje uma emoção indescritível, porque alem do aspecto das lembranças, foram grupos como esse que ajudaram a música eletrônica a pavimentar novos rumos nos noventa.

Me lembrou a entrevista que ele Man Parrish me deu para o Electronic Standards onde ele falou da linha de baixo que ele criou para a faixa: "The metallic drums were created on the Prophet 5, it was a cross-modulation system – it takes one sound and modifies another sound. You have a basic simple drum and a special effect together – so it made the sound metallic, or other types (...)"
