This was recorded during an outing in the Talladega National Forest which is in Alabama. This outing took place 15-20 Oct. 2010.
I had heard several researchers talk about hearing this call which sounds similar to a Screech Owl. You can tell this is no owl and you can really tell the difference on the last (4th.) part.
