AL_GORE_RHYTHM is an electronic music project by Alan Price; based in a 21 storey high, neon green lit flat in Cardiff, Wales, UK.

A long-time writer of guitar based music, but now only beginning to venture into the electronic production domain, the project is steadily developing and improving constantly.

The project came to life one day after going a little over the top when attempting to make a 16-bar electronic interlude, which resulted in the track 'Nice Vice'. Since then, the passion and understanding has continued to grow.

I make music because I have an overwhelming urge to create, which is regularly too enthusiastic for my fellow musicians. As a way of controlling this, I create solo music. I usually manage to produce/release one song a week, which I release one by one, rather than as a collection (which makes this page worth checking regularly!).

The sound is based on a foundations of interweaving synth melodies, lending a heavy influence from 1980s synthpop, along with curiousity leading to experimentation, leaving each track with a unique touch. The sound is steadily straying from the heavily 80s influence and becoming slightly weirder with each track.

The result is a smoothly driven yet relaxing 80s-esque mix which you can tie your shoe laces to. Best enjoyed with flashing green LED lighting.

I don't usually reply to comments unless they're questions but I do really appreciate every single one.

I am also open to collaborations with vocalists, if they have a decent microphone it's always a plus!
