    Oliver Crowther's Sleeping Lions, starring artist Robert Sample, is scheduled for a July premiere at the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival.

    Crowther's composer brief took in theatricality, clowns, Tarkovsky and Jacques Tati; so, with a doff of the hat to the French, we scored a haunting waltz for piano, circus organ and violin, with a dash of military drums and music box as the action comes to a head.
