  • Harmonics is a pop rock endeavour that is infused with musical elements from classical, modern jazz, soul and blues. A.J’s training at Leeds College of Music equip him with the tools to compose music beyond the standard chord progressions exhausted by many of his top selling contemporaries. Coupled with a relentless work ethic and broad musical vocabulary A.J has created an energetic and sophisticated sound both instrumentally and vocally. The lyrical content is no less captivating discussing a wide range of themes and emotions from failed relationships, work, the environment and bullying, to self-doubt and love.

Written, performed, recorded and produced by A.J, Harmonics was completed in mid 2011. While most instrumental parts and vocals were performed by A.J, Harmonics benefited from the contributions of legendary acid jazz drummer Jan Kincaid of 'The Brand New Heavies', strings by members of Classic FM favourites 'The Pavao Quartet', bass and piano moments by the respected session musician Al Gurr and a couple of electrifying solos by top jazz guitarist, Jamie McCredie.

Live the band see’s the inclusion of Belgian drummer Dave Imby and Columbian bassist Diego Rodriguez. Combined with A.J’s intuitive ability to work an audience, whatever the size, the band delivers a thrilling live concert experience in the vain of Bruce Springsteen, Prince and Dave Matthews Band.

Two more albums are currently being recorded. An acoustic album and full band album.
