Simple loop I came up with for a smash-em-up RPG project that I was a part of, which had a hiphop style of music. This theme was written for a mysterious character called the boatman.

@seronoise It has some reverb on it, and the entire piece is also time-stretched... the woes of live recording!

@Aivi Tran: That's what that sound is? o_o Must have some extra effects applied to it. Or is it actually a "reverse piano" voice/patch in the software?

@seronoise Thank you! I won't lie, reverse piano is one of my guilty pleasures/favorite sounds in the universe.

Love the swelling, warbling high-pitched synths cleverly hidden along the beginning here. Gives great atmosphere.

@Chris T Geehan: that groove has instantly won my ears. *rips ears off and hands to Aivi* There..

This is fantastic! I love some of the slight dissonance it gets into around here. Gives me a like "on the water at night with its surface glistening from the reflections of nearby civilization lights" kind of feel. Yeah that. xD
If I were to say it reminded me of something, I'd say it's similar to a track from the Cowboy Bebop The Movie OST: Fingers. =)
