Drawing influences from D'n'B, Breakbeat to Dubstep and Electronica, Flatmate mix these different flavours into tunes running from dark and driving to melodic & atmospheric, with a big accent on sound design. They focus on the grooviest aspects of bass music, elaborating ground shaking mutant basslines, skanking melodies, and boucing beats. Performing live pa, they achieve a fine blend of emotive melodies, syncopated bass-heavy beats and outstanding layering techniques. Each and every time they operate laptops, synths & controllers, they also take the audience on a massive party in wich dance is the common denominator. Voices is Flatmate's tribute to vocal 2-step with some extensions to it. Bringin their techy basslines to the genre, Flatmate draw some kind of future neuro 2-step for the most curious and forward-thinking djs.

Rebirth is more into Flatmate's production with its uncompromised bassline and always evolving structure.
