Isotroph (Nicolas Couval) is a producer based in Di- jon, France. After years of editorial activism in french leading webzines, hundreds of musical reviews, he decided to start writing his own music, using his extended experience as a listener and reviewer as a rock-solid base for what had to become the Isotroph entity.
Back in 2008, he started to express his conception of deep electronic music which takes its roots in the ber- lin dub techno as well as UK’s deep dubstep scenes.

After several remarked uploads on music-oriented social networks such as Soundcloud, he started working with french experimental bass music label (and Airflex Labs’ long time friends) F4T Music. This collaboration led to the release of the Eclosion EP on F4Tmusic, a real three acts odissey into deep ambient and dub techno universes.

Today, Isotroph is back with a brand new pack of deep bass music material on Airflex Labs. His sound is more precise, sharp, vibrant and narrative than ever. Deep House / Deep Techno / Ambient / Deep Dubstep / Dub Techno lovers, you have a new producer to count with.

Particulary influenced by forward-thinking beats and productions, he joined the Airflex Labs team with a new material : Passenger Ep, a combination of classic dub-techno soundscapes with current deep dubstep and distinctive future garage vibes. This EP includes three original tracks, as well as two remix by the Airflex Lab’s brain Opti and future garage's new sensation Neat.

Isotroph aims to take the listener on a journey where atmospheric electronic music has no border. This one should really please both Deep House, Deep Techno and Post-Dubstep enthusiasts. Don't miss it !

The Passenger EP is made of 3 tracks showcasing Nicolas Couval’s influences and orientations, as well as 2 remixes by Neat and Opti.

Passenger is one of the most accomplished cros- sover between Deep House, Deep Dubstep and Techno you’ll have an opportunity to grab. With its always evolving structure, this one should please electronic music lovers and djs from Berlin to Paris to London.

Nenuphar is a very personal journey into deep elec- tronic music. This one has reminiscences of recent Scuba or Pole’s drops. Included in the EP is an exclu- sive «Bloom» remix by Airflex Labs’ Future Garage talent Neat who’s been pushing the track’s melodic and rythmic works to a climax.

Kenya is quite a groover, with its uncompromised deep sub bass and its 140 bpm flavor. It’s Isotroph’s vision of Dubstep that lays in this one. Included is the «Uhuru Peak» deeper and Garage flavored remix by Airflex Labs’ manager Opti who gave the track an uncompromised dub treatment over a groovy Garage beat, giving the track an even more emotional approach.
