I am a full time musician and documentary director based in Jordan/Palestine. I have left my previous job as a marketing manager to pursue my dream in composing soundtracks for movies. I composed soundtracks for 12 documentaries already.
I directed (and composed soundtracks for) my first documentary "The Red Stone" which is a 48-min documentary discussing stories from Jersualem and my second "Forbidden Piglrimage" on Christian Pilgrimage to the Holy Land and the new persecution age.
My inspirations and musicians i look up to include Maurice Jarre, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Ratatat, Nino Rota and many others.
I believe great music (or sometimes silence) is what makes a great movie. The directors who look down upon music/silence as an insignificant issue are not really using their tools effectively and they are far from being good directors.
