Ago Tela is the latest project of three Slovenian producers Jernej Marusic (Octex), Mario Marolt and Marjan Crnkovic, all of them them having extensive experience in electronic music production and performance.

Jernej Marusic became one of the most profiled and internationally established Slovenian electronic music artists with three albums under then name of Octex, his sound placed somewhere between club and avant-garde.

Mario Marolt aka Electrosaurus - a producer, DJ & saxophonist, music composer for film, theatre and dance theatre - was a member of numerous bands in ex-Yugoslavia including the legendary free/funk/punk/jazz band Miladojka Youneed, Rotor, Clair Audient, Darwa, Urban Dance Institution.

Marjan Crnkovic aka DJ Dojaja, a pioneer of Slovenian techno scene and a member of the duo Temponauta, who has among others remixed Umek and Laibach, and also a member of Rotor live house band.

All three also happen to be resident DJs at the cult Slovenian club K4.

The Ago Tela project grew out of live jam sessions with all sorts of analog and digital music equipment and is still frequently joined by a world renowned jazz pianist Peter Mihelic. After playing alongside Moritz von Oswald Trio they moved to the studio, still keeping improvisation at the heart of the music.
