Starting out as ambient/leftfield DJs in the late 90's Diversity of Life, Diversity., Ackers & G, and latterly AGK have forged a miniature history of British electronica in their transformations.

Back in 2002 the minimal, mournful elegance of ‘Pling!’, picked by Pete Lawrence to open the downtempo side to The Big Chill Loves You compilation, put AGK (or Ackers & G, as they were then known) firmly on the map.

2005 saw the release of their debut album on Big Chill Recordings, 'The Liking of Things'. The album met with a warm reception incldugin descriptions such as "a distinct pop sensibility with soul-searching intensity" and "a passionate, grown-up record with one foot in the past but five more"

And in 2008 they released the followup, 'Further South'. A quieter record it's currently maturing in the music collection of those lucky enough to have it!
