So here's my first ever remix and it's a personal favorite. I've been a fan of Lady GaGa for a little while now and I feel our styles gel very, very well together. So here's my take on Bad Romance! Enjoy!

@Jaklap: Thanks. :) It's really more of my take on "Bad Romance" than a full-on remix. Glad you picked up on that.

I am not a fan of remixes, really. But I actually really enjoyed yours. You kept the original beat on it's most basic level, which really held it together as you added more on top. The cutting wasn't overdone, as many do, and it was used well.
And the little build up to the final chorus was great. Not too much, but enough. Kept it classy.
Nice job man!

@k42: Thanks for the awesome review, man. Yeah, I normally rather shy away from too much flash and focus more on the meat of a song (the melodies and hooks). Substance over style always!

I listened to tons of Bad Romance remixes, and almost all of them are bad simply because the song is too good to be remixed. It's pretty much perfect. However, I really enjoyed your take on the song; you didn't seem to follow other remixers and went on with it your own way. Also, you're already renowned for fucking awesome melodies, so it's not a surprise that you excelled at this aspect and made this one heck of a remix. You didn't rely on cheap dub-step beats, but instead focused on what you do best which is integrating your ability to envision original retro-ness into this already-perfect pop hit. I really REALLY love it, and any fan of your music should be able to detect a throwback to one of your older tracks (from your 2nd album) in the verses, especially detected in the first verse. The breakdown is glorious. Perfect, really. Now take a break from your awesome original melodies, and tackle more remixes like this. This going right into my iPhone. 5/5
