In today’s age of social media, it’s much harder for parents and authority figures to claim they can’t “understand” kids today. Journalist Jacqui Cheng, editor-at-large for arstechnica.com, had a summer of discovery when she taught in a program called Civic Innovation Summer that exposed mostly CPS kids to technology.
