BLUES REFLECTIONS
Afropop dives into a celebration of the blues--for some, the essence of the American experience and for others a link back into a lost history in Africa. We'll hear the reflections of Bo Diddley, Robert Plant, Corey Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Lobi Traore, Amadou of Amadou & Mariam and enjoy their music.

If you want to really bend your head about global blues, check out Lo Ka Ping "China: Lost Sounds Of the Tao: Chinese Masters of The Giqin In Historic Recordings". It's really old traditional chinese music, but it has a lot of echoes of the blues.
