Aey Team
The music is ever changing and indefinable. You cannot force a genre onto it, and if you call it raggahouse at one moment, the next it has transformed into a drum’n’bass-inspired gangstagarage. One might as well give up trying, and just let the clearcut electrocompositions and raw drumriffs seduce you into the embracing darkness of the dancehall. Because, that is the mission of the Aey Team, and they seek to accomplish it by stroboscope, neon and a total abandonment of all decency and ethics. Everything is connected by the pulse: The dance and the party and all that comes with it.

On Stage
Even though it is a party when Aey Team is on stage, it is first of all a concert, and while other electromusicians often deejay their way through shows, this team performs all the music live. There are two 1210 turntables, three microphones, two cd-scratchers and an MPC in the setup. It also counts talkbox, keyboard and synthesizer. It seems a great risk, but they do it, and with an energy and intensity, that keeps the party alive long after the music stops.

Background
The group is a syndicate of four artists very familiar with the stage. They have played more than 500 live performances everywhere, from the Middle East and Indonesia to the greatest European festivals and the clubs of Scandinavia. Audiences count as large as 40.000 people. The DJ, producers and recording artists of AEY TEAM share more than 40 record releases on mayor labels such as Sony Bmg, Emi, Capitol, Virgin & Universal records and they have several gold-, platinum- and even double-platinum records in the luggage.
Now, they team up to conquer new land, and the weapon is the massive experience, their different careers have generated. The band is a culturally nuanced project rooted in Morocco, Iraq, Chile and Sweden. Based in the EU they unite their personal expressions in an innovative initiative on the still growing clubstage.
