About
Start with the basics. Andrew "Shrew" Sherry (ADRWSHRY) is a prairie boy that shipped out to Vancouver Island the second his final exam was finished after high school. With a traveling lifestyle he found himself surrounded by musically influenced friends, and a knack for having a good time.
After becoming very good friends with local super star DJ Kenzie Clarke. Kenzie offered to teach Andrew the ropes and how to play music. After a short amount of time Andrew picked up his first gig and his favorite watering hole in Victoria (Lucky Bar), and has been up the up and coming ever since. ADRWSHRY has been quickly getting recognized as one of the new kids on the block. With a musical background and a taste for showing people a good time, he has quickly become known for his "Party Rock" DJ styles.
"Party Rock" - A term that has been chewed up and spit out to the world by our good friends LMFAO. When really it should be embraced. Two fun, yet technical terms that have been used over years, and years of debauchery. The term "Party Rock" can be used by any DJ who is able to genre flip, and mash the unthinkable. Constant fun, and utter excitement.
In just over a year of DJing Andrew has got himself a local residency at Lucky Bar for SOLID! Saturdays with Chris Longshanks (Monolithium) and is continuing to learn new styles and technical abilities from one of his DJ duos (Mr. Smith)
Having shared the stage with Young Guru, DJ Hedspin (RedBull 3 Style Champion), Skratch Bastid, and LA Riots. ADRWSHRY has hopes of continuing to grow that list and learn more from everyone.
The best way to put it..
No Genres - Just Good Music
