Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

Malmö/Stockholm but mainly Bollnäs based band MF/MB/ released one of the most honest, direct and acclaimed albums of 2010 (Folded) and now less than 3 month later they add another massive release to their take over. This is the third track from the album to emancipate from the album to form an own identity with others. Hail – “Seconds Away”, a slow reptile attacking from the underground.

This EP is a perfect measure of the enormous restlessness that constitutes the group. Short after the recordings of the debut album they were back in the studio recording the track “Anthem” that we here find as the second track. A groovy crawling piece with a touch of Oasis in the vocals.

“Everything is Real” is taken from the Folded recordings session, but for some reason, unknown to anyone the track didn’t really make it to the album, but here on the EP we found the perfect place for it. This is one of the tracks where the band’s big synth body music influences are shown.

Fourth track out is the first track the band ever recorded, here in its original version. “The Fine Detail” is featured on the album but this is the raw first version, showing a band that already aimed for the big crowds.

A while ago we released an official remix from MF/MB/ of the great band Health fantastic song “USA Boys” but this is one step further. All Health’s sounds are gone and with new vocal it’s a Health cover.
