Adelle is Sonja Loader-Jurac’ Dj Alias since 2005, where at the age of 17 she played her first set out in Wellington while still based in Christchurch. Adelle most prominently plays Electro but her tastes have spanned across many genres covering Hardstyle, Hard Dance, Breaks and Techno over the 4 years she has been playing.
Adelle’s style has seen her packing backrooms with frenzied crowds, adding memorable experiences to many outdoor parties and warming the dance floors up into a fever. Adelle’s original tune selection ranging from energetic electro to the grungier styles and her personality behind the decks is what makes her unique. Her tunes are upfront with underground and popular tunes lashed in her sets. Adelle has played at the same parties as some international acts like DJ Weaver, DJ Storm, Luna-C and Dom Sweeden as well as many local nights.
Other projects have including hosting a radio show on Wellington based Munt FM. and successfully promoting her first party night ‘Electopia’ at the Drop on the 15th August under the production company name 1-Up. Electopia is an all electro night showcasing a local line-up,the cream of Christchurch.
