Labelled one to “keep an eye on” in 2012 by dance music institution Mixmag, Adeline is set to land herself in the collective consciousness of deep house connoisseurs and dance floor enthusiasts in the not so distance future. With her first offering of the year dropping on DJ T’s Get Physical/Kindisch imprint in February, the Swedish producer, who also
helped launch music website Soundcloud, has relocated to London to focus her attentions on production.
Formerly presenting Scandinavia’s biggest electronic music radio show, P3 Dans, Adeline also made up one half of DJ outfit Housewives together with La Fleur before going it alone. Refining her melodic take on deep house, Adeline’s music is laced with shimmering vocals, understated yet muscular rhythms and honed with an educated palette that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the likes of Einmaleins Musik, Keno Records and the Get Physical crew.
Adeline’s skills on the mixing desk is only half the story, behind the mixer she has played alongside music heavyweights such as Nick Curly, Sascha Dive, Julio Bashmore and Todd Terje, whilst one of London’s best underground party’s, Half Baked, have headhunted the Swede where she graced the controls of their monthly shinding.
With 2012 barely begun, Adeline’s year is shaping up to be a defining one in her quest to further seal her mark on the scene and on recent form, there much much more to come.
Adeline, was up until December 2011 known as Adeline Supreme.
