Depth of Field, negative space, texture, contrast: These elements of design were instilled in me from a young age. Now as I've gotten older I'd like to think that I still apply these same principles to my music production. I grew up near the home of Black Nation Records (Kalamazoo, MI) which provided me with all the inspiration I needed starting out in the scene.
