ADAM SHIELDS got involved in the techno scene at an early age. 15 years old he went to his first rave in the anchorage of the Brooklyn Bridge, Voyager 1, in 1994. It was love at first sight. Lost in this new music he began attending warehouse parties and began evolving with the scene as he grew. He began dabbling with writing Techno around 15 years old and has always had a project studio. In 2001 Adam took a break from the rave/club scene and writing music. He entered a monastery for two years. When he came out of the monastery he wrote a personal development book and then began to take his music writing seriously. He started with Minimal and Techno and slowly moved into Tech House. Tech House is King for Adam Shields. Adam's influences are Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Florein Mendhl, Marc Romboy, Robert Babicz, Lee Burridge, and many more. Adam has recently left his NYC home, ventured cross country, and landed just outside of San Francisco, in the Napa Valley. He runs a weekly Tech House event in Calistoga, CA at the Calistoga Inn Brewery. It's here that Adam has an outlet and testing ground for his newest tracks. Striving for quality, Adam plays his music on a number of systems, and always loud, before calling one "finished". Adam Shields is ever striving to up his production quality and make a career out of his love for Techno House. Adam Shields is currently unsigned.
