Fortitude began as a singer/guitarist in a rock band. After a few years of playing gigs around the uk that band slowly came to an end. Around the same time he started listening to drum and bass and shortly after bought a set of decks, spending many hours workin on mixes and later beats. Originally the producer and one of the Djs in KZSS. After spending a year living in Canada and working on tunes ...whenever possible realised that working alone was more preferable as all the signed tracks so far were solo efforts. This lead to the eventually disbanding of KZSS and going alone as Fortitude. Over the last few years Fortitude has played on lineups alongside Calyx & Teebee, Black Sun Empire, Bad Company, Dylan, Robyn Chaos, Tech Itch, Audio, Limewax, Dj Hidden, Dj - E, Current Value, Cause 4 Concern, Bones, Broken Note, The Sect, DBridge & Instra:mental, Lynx, Blame, Savage Rehab, Bladerunner, High Contrast, Cookie Monsta and 16BIT for Promoters such as AGRO (bristol), Aperture (cardiff), One Mission (cardiff), Indecent Audio (bury st edmonds), Neutek (aberystwyth), Pitch Black (newport) and CYNT (cardiff). Currently part of the Extent Group with an Ep and 3 individual tracks released (and more signed to sub label Excel) Fortitude also has had releases on Section 8 , Dubextent, Dangerous New Age, Abducted, Dissected Culture LTD, Ex Machina, Phantom Dub and In Da Jungle.

Look out for a productive year for Fortitude with high profile label interest, many collaborations with Terror Cell, Savage Rehab, Ketz, Effect, Miss Lil L, Sths and Kurrupt, more releases and smashing out brutal, upfront sets around the country.
