ADADA is toronto based sound generator. he listens to everything from hip hop he picks up off people on the street to krzysztof penderecki. often he listens to these things one after the other, sometimes at the same time.
he then turns all these ideas into sounds - maybe music - though it none of it sounds like anything he listens to.
his way of making music is like walking down a busy chinatown street on Saturday afternoon and suddenly running into a friend or someone he likes and then hanging out with that person for a little while.
like many people, making music for ADADA is lot a like sex - it gets a lot better when he loses control of it.
when not making music, ADADA is busy working on art festivals in Toronto and upsetting boards of directors across the city.
