Nice chilly tune, I like it. Are the backgrounds made with samples or did you use synths?
-
@sampsy: mostly sounds mutated from the original song, Access Ti sounds and reverb, and a sample or two in there

I was commissioned to remix this Castanets track. Wonderful song. It's very subdued. I decided to just make the song a bit bigger and add more lush organic texture underneath Ray's voice. I really didn't want to ruin the mood or song with beats. Anyway, you can find this remix on their recent DVD. - Live 2005 excerpt #2 Artwork

This was my Elektron-Users Monomachine Science Lab entry for the 'GND Noise' December 2006 lab. Rules were you could only have one pattern and only use the MM Noise machine. I was blown away how much you could do with the Noise machine only. I won too...woo! - New Elektron Monomachine DigiENS & DigiDRAW machine example Artwork

I made this track shortly after downloading the new OS 1.20 for the Elektron Monomachine MKII. The whole track is just DigiENS & DigiDRAW machines. It's also actually on a 32 bar loop w/ my muting and pausing/starting for the whole thing. The new waveforms in the machines are really rad. Enjoy - QRS/TUV Artwork
