Acoustic Vimala and the Ocotillo Geo Treo performed this original tune at the Tucson Folk Festival in May of 2009. The story of this song's creation is a bit unusual. The challenge to write a song about the idea of Returning was put forth by a channelled entity named Tobias of the Crimson Council. The entity was planning to return to this 3D world by "walking in" to 12-year-old boy named "Sam." The songwriter did not plan to write the song but early on a fall morning in Tucson, AZ, the catchy chorus line started to come in and the writing process was underway. After five hours of getting up, tape recording tunes, lying back down, jumping up again, writing and re-arranging words, the song was finished. So is the song-writer the songwriter, or did she herself channel the tune from another dimension? ... these are all mysteries!
