@TimFurmanmusic: Thanx for commenting, and you are absolutely right! This song is missing a few things, actually. There is no intro, no ad-libs, no sound-effects, and no sound bytes at all in this track. Aside from the voice dub, I went with the pure basics in this demo, nakedly showcasing just my lyrics and instrumental. I did not want to give off the false impression that this song (or any of the four on my 2008 demo) is "completed," because it is not. Ideally, I would like to use my demo to link up with a professional producer who can help me to polish this track to completion by putting his or her own "signature" touches on it, as well! If not, I will continue to build my up my home studio until I have equipment that is worthy of working a track to full "professional quality" At this point, I own an Edirol FA-101 and an AKG C2000B cartoid condenser mic. The Edirol is definitely good to go - even ahead of the industry standard, but I will really need a much better microphone (even though mine is great) if I am to really to create that full, crisp, clear studio sound that I want!
