JUST A WACK JAZZ LOOP! sober monday evening beat.
we’ve been listening to this hip hop music quite a long time. and there is always one thing that really all producers are mentioning when it comes to the origin of sampled based hip hop.....and that is on the one side --&rt; funk n soul, on the other side jazz. anyhow. we managed to work with soul samples, but jazz we couldn’t handle so far. we had no idea. maybe the most of the vinyl we bought were more like swing records than jazz ones. but yesterday evening we found a suitable piano sample on an old jazz record that we thought to work with.... the beat that we’ve done is more like work in progress, whereas this one is finished....far away from being perfect...but at least our first attempt to do some jazzieh stuff....hopefully more to come....
