The BenzoTrip Manifesto
The BenzoTrip Manifesto consists of 4 general constraints, which define the creative process. The main premise behind the manifesto is that in order to express oneself, a musician must release his/her tracks regularly and not to dwell on perfecting them, as this degrades the pure emotions of the musician; insisting on perfecting each aspect of the track forces the musician to focus on the small details, and therefore get distracted from the pure emotions and the general feel of the piece. The four constraints are:
1. Working on a track should never take more than an hour.
2. Each track must be released immediately at the end of the working process, as it is.
3. A released track could never be revised or altered. Once it is released, the creative process is over.
4. It is okay to break one of the rules to a certain degree as long as you keep them in mind and try to obey.
In addition to the manifesto, BenzoTrip has a unique sound, characterized mainly in groove, incompleteness, erosion and, well,,, a trippy vibe.
