Atmospheric Ambient Lush Dark ambient, Soundscapes, Drones, you name it! If it's ambient music you want, it's ambient music you get!
This is a short one. This ice was thin enough to break, but still thick enough to bend a bit.
Anyone is welcome to take and use this recording in any project they want. My only request would be to let me know what you did with it and to mention me in the project notes. Thanks!

@henryboy: Ain't that the sad truth. I'm hoping to spend more time out of the cities this Winter and get some great recordings of the fluffy silence of the season... once we get snow, that is.

the man the man, he's everywhere-- really hard to get the humans out of the nature. sad really that we have only eq to help, and that only degrades the pursuit. ugh.

@2 Edit: It's a big problem I have. I wish I lived out where there were no damn cars. You could try bandpassing it out, but that would lower the quality of the sample too. I've had some success with gating the sample so only the important parts pass through.

that ice sound would be super cool to use if I knew how to get rid of that background noise :/
