Steve lee (aka The Project Club / Above Machine)

In recent years, Steve has produced and released vinyl records on Is It Balearic?, Needwant, Tusk Wax and his own imprint Above Machine. These releases have been coupled with some lovely remixes from Ray Mang, Coyote, Lovefingers, Shrinkwrap, D-Pulse, Seahawks and Lexx. In addition, his edits make brief appearances in record stores and his production skills land on a few other pop stylings.

Adjacent to his daily routine, Steve continues to develop, produce and remix other artists whilst slowly building his own little record stable. Furthermore, he is often found not-working at a London Performing Arts College.

When out from the cables Steve runs BALEARICA - Which has played host to the Idjut Boys, Phil Mison, Justin Robertson, Felix Dickinson, Richard Norris, Jonny Nash (Sombrero Galaxy), Seahawks, Tirk Records, Main Stem, Coyote, Jason Boardman, Kelvin Andrews, Balearic Mike, Mudd, Stupid Human, Ray Mang, Soft Rocks and The Acid Tree / Folk.

Steve is regularly dragging a record trolley across London, UK and Europe - Always pushing quality disco and house grooves along with some dusty B-Sides.
