Most people my age realy dont understand what "real" hip hop is. Hip Hop is alot more than music, it's a way of life and everything behind the music. It's the graffiti on the walls, it's the cars and buses driving down the streets, it's the emotion you feel inside when you think about your friends and family. People can see hip hop with ther own eyes yet they still don't understand. I'm gonna try to help continue the old school sound, with it's real messages, incredible word play, and I know ther are many underground artists doing the same thing. Rap music is rhythem and poetry. Rap is an art form with many different styles. The reason people don't know much about the "real" hip hop (artists like GURU, Lord Finesse, and Smoothe Da Hustler) is because the media has takin over the industree. The industree is not people any more, it's billion dollar companies. The music these companies produce is mostly not "real" hip hop because it's soul purpose is to make money by selling crap to todays youth. Real hip hop comes from the heart.
