The year 2008 saw a shining of a new light. Abducted Records burst onto the scene with a unique sound and style. Forming around the notion that a label doesnt have to be binded to one style of music, they came out strong featuring releases from artists such as Neonlight, Koan Sound, Maztek, Syndaesia, Kryteria, Richie August, Hedj (R.I.P.), as well as tons of other amazing artists. Setting the bar high right from the start Dioptrics, the duo that masterminded the label, pushed forward to raise the quality even higher with each release.

Known for the signature "Neurofunk" sound, Dioptrics incorporated that vibe into Abducted heavily. Not only within the Drum and Bass releases, but on the Dubstep side as well. Each release had to signify the Abducted sound by pushing the boundaries of upfront, dark and high energy music. This sound only amplified in 2010 when the Sweedish masterfeind Bratkilla was brought on board to help Abduct the world. Bringing to the table his signature Deathstep sound, Abducted now has the momentum needed to skyrocket to global popularity.

Whats next for the label? If the momentum keeps going the same direction it has, the only direction is UP! With current and forthcoming releases from Static Function, Wonkap, Bratkilla, Tim Ismag, Kryteria, Diode, Dioptrics, and Daladubz on deck. PLUS an Abducting Europe tour featuring label owners Bratkilla and Dioptrics in the works, only the sky is the limit!
