From a young age, Rex Winston-Walford always knew he was adopted but it wasn't until quite late in his life that he finally met his Aboriginal family.

Rex also found a career as an artist and when he finally met his Aboriginal birth mother, the pieces of his current life started falling into place.

Rex's artwork is owned by some of the world's best known musicians and he spoke about his experiences to Rhianna Patrick on stage at the Saltwater Freshwater Festival at Taree on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
