About

New Music.
The songwriting team of Timothy Carman/Leon Ellis have written/co-written well over 100 songs and published six albums to date, beginning with the release of When Now Was Then in 1995. Initially, their albums were recorded with the Christopher Lennon Group. Over the last few years that group has evolved to the current incarnation, abandcalledrocketsurgery, which is credited with their last two albums. Favoring studio produced material over live performances, their interest is in the creation of songs as de novo sonic experiences. As such, there is no single sound or genre that necessarily characterizes their work. Rather, as Tim puts it, "More than anything I'm a music fan; the instrumentation is a reflection of artists that have inspired me, the writing a result of the magic that is always around us all, which I hopefully catch a glimpse of every now and then."
