Only one year after his album debut, Music for Motion Pictures, and six months after his first release on Swedish label Jämmerdosa is Åbäke back with a new three piece EP called Suite 1: Omne Trinum Perfectum. Since last time has Åbäke developed an even greater passion for piano driven and spacious beats and with a wide palette of influences such as Philip Glass, Trent Reznor, Sascha Funke, Pantha du Prince & Portishead is Åbäke aiming to create a mood that switches between hope, curiosity and despair.

Omne Trinum Perfectum is the first release in a series of shorter and more conceptual releases by Åbäke, aiming to create a more rapid speed of development and joy when it comes to music making and performing. Rikard Jönsson, which is Åbäke's real name, had the following to say: "I grew tired of waiting for a whole album to come in mind, so I try to shorten the span for both creating and releasing material. I thinks it's mote fun for both me and the audience for the moment. It gives more flexibility to create and try something new, which I'm always up for!"

The EP will be release in digital format only via both Spotify, iTunes & Soundcloud and will be the eight release from swedish record label Jämmerdosa. Rikard tell's us more about the release: "I'm sure this release will be very welcomed by both the post-rock and the ambient communities since due to the instrumental nature and development of the songs, I like to make people almost get lost in the music but never to get bored. The EP is built in a classic dramaturgy with a hectic intro, a mellow middle and a end piece that makes you want to wish for more. These songs are often the product of my travels or late nights with my piano but now I feel's it time for them to claim their own space."
