As line-ups go, you'd be hard pushed to find a more diverse band than London based four-piece Wayter. Hailing from the likes of Argentina, Spain, Devon and Berkshire, the boys have spent the last four years preparing and perfecting their signature sound, and have even managed to clear a hole in their hectic schedule to release their debut EP - Marco Polo, and single - Cheese Sandwich. With 2010 seeing them featured in Classic Rock (Track of the Day for “Cheese Sandwich”) and Ian Camfield's XFM Rock Show, the band are excited to see what the 2011 has in store for them.

This year is set to be a busy one for Eddie (Vox / Guitar), Oscar (Drums / Vox), Juan (Guitar / Vox), and Dan (Bass), with the band putting the finishing touches to their eagerly awaited debut album before unleashing it in all it's glory. Never ones to rest on their laurels, Wayter are releasing their latest single Twenty to work their fans into a feeding frenzy.

Twenty has once again seen the band demonstrate an impressive degree of technical ability, creating a single that floats the listener away on an ethereal cloud of discord, with Eddie's mellifluous vocals providing a harmonic contrast to the two dueling guitarists. This is a track that showcases a group who have discovered they can create a deeply alternative sound, with more than a healthy dash of 60s psychedelia, and are constantly aiming to develop it past perfection. It's no surprise that they've seen themselves compared to underground heavyweights such as Slint and Fugazi.

Providing a fresh and individual take on the traditional alternative format, Wayter are sure to take 2011 by storm.
