@AvantGuy: Good ear. I usually do work in some sort of structural environment.

@AvantGuy: Yep, that's what it is. The piece was generally constrained to "cameras", so there is some variation (the samples in the B theme come from digital cameras rather than film) but the main parts of the first theme and the close are taken from those two samples. (and thanks...it has been far too long. It's good to be back. Hopefully with more to come.)

@faleš: Thank ya! My methods aren't really quite that complex, but I appreciate the thought :) The pitched popping sounds really are just popping sounds that have been pitch-shifted (almost like an old keyboard where one sample was used across the whole board and the high/low registers distort). The longer spring-like sounds are just that same sample that's been time-stretched and then shifted. That's really all there was to it, other than some reversing and reverb effects. I've been doing a lot of extreme sound-stretching lately to see what sorts of things are hiding...been interesting.

Thanks! This was really one of my first attempts at electro work. I was seriously struggling at figuring out how to use the tools at the time, so it was kind of rough going. Thanks for the encouragement!
