Hello my minions.....most importantly I have been active in the nightlife scene for the past 20 years, back when I was a young whipper snapper you went to clubs and heard dark hard or emo industrial or pop-house.....So I guess I've been witness to the evolution of dance music all these years and involved in fostering the many artists that create the many scenes....It all started as a teeny bop level 5'er, a Industry, Aqua lounge, Club One, Wave goer in Dallas, I moved to Austin (loved the people and music there, happy and high energy) I toured the south and north east for many years as a Raver and Club Kid. In the early nineties, and even now I entertain many great musicians and nightlife personalities. Yes sir re' worked for a brief second in NYC, but mostly Austin Texas, where I called the now infamous nightclub Proteus my home...After that I went to collage got a socio-cultural anthropology degree, studying urban culture's, nightlife, drug use, and poverty. I also helped found the Texas Green Party in the mid 90's, ran for Mayor of Denton TX, all this and still staying active in the Dallas dance and live music scenes. I Moved to Oregon in 2000 to study anarchism with writer John Zerzan and the Green anarchist collective, listened to a lot more punk-rock but then ended up at Oregon Country Fair and was adopted by a group of burners known as the Woonami, and El Circo, great people who fostered my growth into the breaks movement. All along the way I have been a "Rainbow," a Radical Faerie, and politico, I know I know low-tech, but it taught me so much about revolution, and the future of the world.....So here I am I guess the word "elder" should be "given" but sometimes those of us who aren't "big time" DJ's or producer's need to just claim it, gosh darn it I know things I've seen things blossom and fall blossom and fall, don't loose your humanity to your ego, it's a sad state of affairs how untouchable old friends have become, because they'd rather have the "superstar"status than wise advisers. My bones are aching and I can still let go and really have fun with it it's not ego, just experience....I am classically trained in all forms of dance, set design, and voice, perhaps I'll end up belting out a tune on here soon enough...I also can throw up a mean staging set and have a design company called "Wulfpak Productions" which currently hosts cabarets at Cafe Du Nord in SF CA....PS I'd love to get to know any producers or peeps better I can be an honest critic, and a great adviser, so join in the dance!
