He’s one of India’s most popular DJ, and he goes by the name of "Aakashvani", a veteran of electronic dance, with an experience over a decade in the music industry and 14 years of hard work to prove it.

Anish has spent years fine-tuning his music winning formula, in the only way he knows how, by jet-setting around the globe and feeling the vibe at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, dispensing musical epiphanies wherever he plays. Anish’s evolving appreciation of the "feel good factor” has brought him commercial success globally.

DJ Anish started his music career in 1996, in the dance clubs of New Delhi/ India, playing gigs at MIRAGE.

After winning the title of the World DMC Champion, India in 2000 there was no halts in his courier. A professional Dj since 1997, with award winning status truly under his belt, Anish Anand a.k.a Aakaahvani's djing experience and career has gone from strength to strength to an eminent Pro-Disc Jockey at some of the rocking clubs in India and abroad since 1997. In both the electronic and pop world, DJ Anish is unstoppable. Performed at some hottest clubs like D2 (Macau), Airport Club (Germany), Ministry Of Sound (Resident Dj/ India) and many more, Dj Anish has kept a frantic pace, in terms of his performances in India and Abroad.

2009 was like a new catapult for DJ Anish. Ministry of Sound, a prestigious stamp, in the electronic music world, signed him as his main resident DJ in India. Sharing the console with the names like Lee Softly, Alex Flatner, Jalebi Cartel, Bandish Project, Darude, Berouze, Numerology and many more is an unforgettable memos for Dj Anish.

DJ Anish, hosted some of the online live mix tapes on LUXENBURG.IN podcast (abroad) and on RADIO ONE 94.3 (national) with the blend of some smooth tech grooves which got so popular among many listeners around the globe that the sets became the most listened set nationally and internationally. Getting so many positive testimonials from Germany, Czech Republic, Brazil, South Africa, and USA made Dj Anish to form an Electronic DJ Band named “aakaashvani”, in 2009.

After rejecting all the hotshot residencies he started to chase his dream of performing live at different gigs and so was the reincarnation of DJ Anish.
