"Emerging from the Brussels rock scene,Altamontt is out of step with everything else that is happening in this city at this time. Although the atmosphere can and does change from song to song, they keep developing their unmistakable blend of late sixties and contemporary raw guitar all along. Dorothee (drums), Zuno (lead vocals & guitar) and Dave (vocals & bass) have met a few years ago when playing together with different bands (10000 women man, Suture, Fie, etc.). Today, as from its beginnings, the threesome draws much of its inspiration from personal everyday life, adjusting tempos and tuning chords to the moods contained in each number."
