David Noller - Drummer/Electronic/Private Lesson Teacher
David Noller has been playing drum set for 20 years. He is a senior percussion major at Adams State University and makes a living by doing studio work, giving drum set clinics, electronic music, his solo project A Book Of Scars and teaching private drum set/percussion lessons. He has written for percussion ensemble and has his piece Coordination Exercise: Impossible? for your viewing pleasure on the Videos page. His piece was performed by the Adams State University percussion ensemble for the premiere performance at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. He started playing drums when he was only 17 months old. His dad was a touring drummer and started teaching David from a very young age.
David Noller starting making his way into the drumming scene through various drum set competitions and talent shows including the national Guitar Center Drum Off of which he made it to district finals multiple times. He went on to win various talent show awards throughout Colorado’s school systems and state fairs. He was in the touring band Dog Day Afternoon of which he toured throughout the mid-west United States from 2004 to 2007.
In 2007 he went to Adams State University to further his percussion and teaching skills. He is majoring in Music Business while emphasizing in Percussion and is currently playing in the college jazz band, percussion ensemble, steel drum ensemble, marching band, and concert band since 2007.
In his spare time he produces and records his solo project called A Book Of Scars. He has released an E.P. called D.T.F.W. which incorporates drum set influences with the common growing style of Dubstep. He calls this Drum-step.
