About
A Billion Hz is an electronic music duo from London, formed in November 2010. After experimenting with trip-hop and realising that those early creations were not sounding as alive, bright and inspiring as they would like, they decided to take a different approach. Adopting a playful attitude, they began to free themselves from their preconceptions, with the aim of creating music which is not constrained to any particular style, but is more an expression of a certain attitude, an attitude of freedom and fun towards music-making.
The sound of A Billion Hz is mainly electronic, but often organic. There are combined flavours from Breakbeat, Jazz, Dubstep, Trip-Hop, Electro and Ambient. They aim to combine styles and sounds in the most natural and enjoyable way without entering too far into experimental territory. The sound of bHz is unique, yet it is accessible.
The production of the album is almost finished. It is scheduled for release in January 2011.
