Archer is the musical hybrid made up by Liviu Runcan, spinning between influences, styles and tempos in the contemporary art spectrum. Archer`s music was played on all major dubstep and drum and bass radios such as Rinse, Sub FM, Bassdrive, Jungle Train, Ministry of Sound Radio, Radio Guerilla (Zona libera), Leith FM and others.
Played on stage with international djs like Vibration Lab, Panda Dub, Mistabishi and Romanian djs like Pseudub, Fane, Tremour, Elusive Beats, Irie Warriors, Kaya Foundation, Dudawles, and many more

After drumming as a teen, in 2009 Archer decided to take making music on a different approach . The end of 2010, Alien Pimp decides to bring Archer in the Dubkraft and Fals Flag Operation family, featuring on the debut V/A OPOLOG 00, with “Sunrise”, supported by ASC, pioneer of future thinking drum&bass. Debut on Dubkraft Records conceived on the various artist “Adult Bass Music vol.2” with the tune “Night Train” supported by Hyperdub`s Scratha DVA on the infamous Rinse FM. Summer of 2011 featured on the V/A “Modern Dub from Bucharest” alongside talented artists from Bucharest like Arapaima, Vlad Onu, Ion and label boss, Alien Pimp.

Constantly pushing his sound, trying to make a mark in the game, through production and djing, “The Bass Continuum EP” released in September of 2012 by Dubkraft Records, conceived a split EP alongside Asanyeh of pure avant garde electronic music, from a more cinematic ambient feel, heavily supported in the scene and reviewed by Joe Muggs in the famous english electronic music magazine “Wire”.

Archer featured in the free various artist compilation “Nu Doar Bas, volume 1” a collection of Romanian quality bass music alongside names like Marginal, Dyl, Alien Pimp, Dudawles, Fane to name a few. Another freebie was conceived on the release of Cracking Claps`s various artist “5 Clappers” with the tune “Aye”.

2013 is due to be an intense year for Archer, after having a guestmix on Jungle Train, opening for Vibration Lab and Panda Dub, releases linned at RAWganics, Dubkraft, and a side project kicking off, with fellow bass oriented producer based in Bucharest, Low Freq.

Expect from Archer more eclectic music in the future, murderous sets with a wide variety of moods and intensity.
